A humorous and enchanting novel set in the 'rock and roll' 70's and 80's, it follows the formative years and journey to stardom of Fred and the young girl who grew up adoring him.
Based in the family-run recording studio in the Welsh Marches, Diamond Star Halo was inspired by Tiffany Murray's own childhood, growing up at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire, where her Father was a producer and her Mother the in-house cook.
This is a deeply seductive story of obsession and love; loss, family and rock 'n' roll, published straight into large paperback at 13,75 euros.
Tiffany has taught creative writing at the universities of Bath, Manchester, Arvon and Wales. Her first novel was shortlised for the Bollinger/Wodehouse Prize for Comic Writing. She divides her time between the Welsh Marches and the Algarve.
Tiffany will be signing copies of Diamond Star Halo and her previous novel, Happy Accidents, and happily sharing writing experiences over a glass (or two) of wine during the evening.
