On September 2nd the St Patrick’s Society held a very enjoyable and sociable evening to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of a new season of events. Around 50 members and their guests enjoyed a perfect evening in a spectacular setting overlooking the Arade river, with the Monchique Mountains in the background.
The Society is always on the look out for new members to join (you don’t have to be Irish) and participate in various events throughout the year. Also there are not-too-strenuous walks, with a lunch afterwards, usually on the last Saturday of the month.
