The Rotary Club de Albufeira campaign "Mission Of Solidarity 2021" has begun, for the next months, and with we are committed, in terms of communication and actions on the ground, appealing for the donation of goods and food products (non perishable), toiletries and household cleaning, as well as animal food (dogs and cats).
Rotary Club of Albufeira is going to commemorate 50 years or existence, we are working within our local society to fight hunger in our solidarity mission, welcoming smiles, touching hearts and renewing hopes.
This campaign, "Mission Solidarity 2021" is to assist non- profit purposes organisations in the county of Albufeira, whose solidarity action deserves all our help, namely:
SCMA ; APEXA; PABOFE (Vincentians); AHSA; C.A.S.A;; B.V.A.; and animal associations - PATA ATIVA, AGA and PRAVI!
It should be noted that the scope of this campaign has been extended to other institutions, the result of a partnership with the Algarve Law Centre!
On January 15th the Rotary Club of Albufeira and the Núcleo de Direito do Algarve, in another joint solidarity action, delivered school supplies to the Bemposta School Group.
The words of Dr. Carla Silva and Cunha are: "Another response to a new challenge that has been launched to us, and the answer is in sight, at a time when the difficulties are growing through the pandemic, and we are all called to help."
