It is with great honour, joy and pride, that Rotary Club of Albufeira has received the highest distinction, in this Rotary Year 2020-2021, the Platinum Mention District Award, awarded by the District Governor, long with 4 other clubs - Cascais-Estoril, Lisbon, Lisbon International and Ponta Delgada.
Rotary Club of Albufeira President Jorge Azevedo was also distinguished, as Rotary of the Year, among 11 other companions, including District Governor Roberto Carvalho, for the work, effort and commitment developed.

The Rotary Club of Albufeira celebrated 50 Years of History on June 16t this year at the community rehabilitation centre in the new Apexa Place, in the presence Roberto Carvalho Governor, the Mayor of Albufeira, José Carlos Rolo , Isabel Lopes Assistant Governor, and Rotary Club Albufeira Fellows, Ana Vieira, Normélia Cunha and Sérgio Brito; Nuno Neto Apexa President; Nuno Neto; Jorge Azevedo - Albufeira Rotary Club President; among others.
