This month, Algarve Senior Bikers ride offered members the choice of riding from Tavira in the Eastern Algarve, or Odiaxere in the West, eventually meeting for lunch at Restaurant O Folclore in Alte.
Both groups enjoyed some of the best scenic views from the quiet roads through the hills of the Algarve on the way to Alte.
As well as a very enjoyable lunch, entertainment was provided by the resident comedian, Balthazar the donkey.
The lead riders on this occasion were Peter Kenyon from the east, assisted by Huw Chivers and David Shirley, and Yves Breyer from the west, with assistance provided by Steve Gallagher and Dave Loewy.
The next event on June 10th will be the ASB 14th Anniversary Charity BBQ, with the residents of the Gaivota children's home. Details on the website.
