For the third consecutive year, VILA VITA Parc has received one of the 26 Golden Keys from Boa Cama Boa Mesa (Good Bed, Good Table), the acclaimed awards from Expresso, the national newspaper.
Two Michelin star restaurant Ocean, located within the resort, has also won the Golden Fork for the third year.
Both awards, attributed annually by the management of the Expresso guide, distinguish the best 26 hotels and best 26 restaurants in the country.
After winning its second Michelin star in 2011, Ocean received the Platinum Fork, the top award for “the best amongst the best” restaurants in Boa Cama Boa Mesa. Also in 2012 Ocean´s Executive Chef Hans Neuner was awarded “Chef of the Year”.
The awards ceremony took place on15th April, at the Teatro Thália, in Lisbon, in the presence of Francisco Pinto Balsemão, President of Grupo Impresa (owners of Expresso) and dozens of guests from all over the country.
The entire team at VILA VITA Parc and Ocean restaurant is extremely proud for this achievement which is a testimony to the continuous efforts to place the hospitality industry in Portugal on the highest levels of quality and service.
