We have been inundated with information requests about the Algarve SUP Festival – Summer 2015 and the marketing campaign that we are currently running. It has been impossible to answer or see everyone that has entered into contact with us in the past few weeks, as we are but a very small team.
As a result we have decided to provide you with as much information as possible, to hopefully trigger your interest in being part of the biggest event that the Algarve has ever had.
This festival is also a perfect platform for you and your business to earn some very good money before the start of the summer season next year.
We now want to share with you three very important things that has happened in the past few weeks, namely:
1. IT IS NOW OFFICIAL - We are entering into a FORMAL collaboration agreement with Academy of Surf Instructors (ASI). ASI is headquartered in Australia and has an office in the UK. ASI is a leading international organisation in the Surf and the SUP (Stand-Up-Paddle) sectors.
2. The Algarve SUP Festival will have their full endorsement and in the process we now have access to their international network. This is very good news. The judges for the races will be approved ASI judges and the Festival will be an approved ASI Competition event.
3. We have taken a stand at the MarAlgarve Expo in October 2014 from the 9th to the 11th which will be held in Portimão. We will be officially launching the Festival Marketing Campaign at this expo which expects between 5000 and 6000 visitors.
4. As a result of us going to the MarAlgarve Expo, we have decided to create a new map. One that will introduce the festival to delegates and other interested parties. It is our intent to have this map available during the expo and afterwards for targeted international distribution.
