The ladies of Pinheiros Altos Clube de Golfe turned out in force to watch a fashion show staged by Marité Stabile of the prestigious La Dolce Vita store in Almancil, and some strutted their stuff modelling the latest looks before a highly enthusiastic audience.
The lunch and fashion-show event, organised by the club’s Lady Captain Lisa Burns, took place at Capisce (previously Couleur France and opening this week under the new ownership of Loris Stabile of Aquarelle), raised an amazing €4,100 for children’s charity ACCA. The monies will be used to give further support to Marley who requires additional vital equipment, and also to meet the ongoing medical costs for Rosa at Bom Samaritano; in both cased the children’s needs are not met by the State. Without ACCA’s ongoing help, life for these two youngsters would be harsh.
Lisa Burns would like to thank all those involved in arranging the fashion show, Glynnis Lindley for making up the models, Loris Stabile for providing the venue and the excellent meal, and all the members of Pinheiros Altos for their support. She would also like to thank everyone who attended for their generosity and support of ACCA causes.
