"Hi. I'm Paulinha. At least, that's my current name. I'm very friendly, and clearly I was once a house-cat with an owner. I don't understand what went wrong."
"In January I was rescued from a rubbish bin where I was left half-dead. I was in such a bad way that the vet thought I wouldn't survive and it would be kinder to put me to sleep. But ADAPO took me in.
So, here I am! Now the vet says I have recovered! She says that as I'm quite an old girl, the best thing for me would be to find a place in a Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, you know, a sort of retirement home. Perhaps you happen to know of such a place where a moggie like me would be welcome?"
You can see more on the ADAPO Facebook page (in Portuguese and English) which features all the cats in our shelter, or email bigodesolhao@gmail.com
