Tina McEvoy looked back to reflect on the paintings that she has donated to the StreetLife Animal Sterilisation Programme... she has just reached the 1st anniversary of her "Art for Dogs" initiative.... attached is a collage of the artwork she has donated, and her Art Work for July… appropriately named at the moment… Heat of Summer!
The first painting of the month was featured in June 2023, and every month another painting was dedicated to StreetLife.
Although many of Tina's paintings have already raised donations, there are still five available waiting for a home.

July's art work for sale, to raise money for Streetlife
Tina tells us, "As June saw the celebration of the first anniversary since I started dedicating a monthly painting in support of the StreetLife Animal Sterilisation Programme, I decided to take a moment to reflect and be thrilled about what
we’ve achieved so far.
The time soon came to present the next featured painting and for the month of July, I have chosen a small abstract acrylic on paper that’s titled “Heat of Summer”.
I painted this piece during a heat wave last summer and because the paint dried almost immediately, I was forced to work quickly with no opportunity to make corrections. This makes it an authentic work, really capturing the mood of the moment. Plants and animals were suffering and struggling to survive in the extreme heat. I felt keenly that the summer heat had almost turned toxic, hence the pink layer.
If you are looking for wall art to add a splash of bold colour into a small space, this framed painting might be just right for you!
