This holiday season, Castelo de Sonhos, a registered charity with more than 200 elderly in need, living in the Silves area, have organised their 20th Annual Shoebox Campaign for the Elderly. The boxes will be delivered to the elderly folk by the Castelo de Sonhos team.
Would you like to donate a gift? Here’s how to do it...
1. Fill your shoe box with a variety of gifts.
Here are some ideas.... warm socks, warm gloves, a scarf, a hot water bottle, toiletries, a flannel/facecloth, sewing kit, biscuits, canned goods, chocolates, jam or preserves, a small torch, a notepad and pen.
Check edibles with a reasonable expiry date. Please, no Medication or Alcohol.
2. Wrap your gift and label it for man/woman or couple.
3. Drop it off at one of the following Drop Off Points before December 16th 2024:
