Ana António Gill's new works, which will be exhibited from 2nd to 29th February 2024 at Aderita Artistic Space, Vale do Lobo Shopping, explore the complexities and sheer beauty of "being human" while observing the world around us.
Ana António Gill completed her studies at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, where she graduated with honours in Drawing and Urban Art. Her artistic expression encompasses a variety of forms, including painting, sculpture, installation, and performance.

The exhibition private view takes place on Friday 2nd February from 17:30 to 19:00 hours. The art exhibition will be open to the public from 2nd to 29th February 2024, Monday from 14:00h to 18:00h and Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00h to 18:00h. Admission is free.
Discussing her work, Ana António Gill says, ‘My paintings draw on how every experience, as insignificant as it may seem, makes a mark on our lives, and together builds a picture of who we are and how we see the world.’ For Ana, art is seen as a cathartic process for the artist and offers the potential for a pleasurable coincidence of like-mindedness with the viewer. A moment that may connect with another’s reality.
Having lived and worked in London for 20 years, Ana is now based in Portugal. She has exhibited in London and Portugal.
