As part of the celebrations of the International Civil Protection Day, which is celebrated on March 1st, all interested are invited to attend in the IV Fair of Civil Protection of Knowledge in Albufeira.
This 3 day event held from 10:00 to 19:00 hrs on 21st, 22nd and 23rd March , is free to enter and will take place in the Albufeira Multipurpose Space (next Lidl Albufeira). It is organised by the Albufeira Civil Protection.
The event is aimed at broadening the knowledge of the population on topics that involve public safety. A very diverse and informative program has been planned, which includes the following:
- Fire safety in buildings
- Dealing with railway emergencies
- Animals in disasters and catastrophes
- Road Safety
- Basic Life Support
- Seismic and tsunami risk
- Beach safety rescue and relief
- Maritime safety and rescue
- Drowning prevention
- Work of Safe Communities Portugal
- Albufeira Civil protection plan
- Safe internet
- Risk management of cliffs
- Asian wasps
- “Diabetes on the Move”
- Rural fire prevention
Safe Communities Portugal has a stand at the event and will be making a presentation of its work at 1400 hrs on Friday 22nd March. We look forward to seeing you there.
