On the 18th May, Norway’s National day was celebrated at Hotel Pestana Alvor Praia.
The event was attended by the Ambassadors from Norway, the Honorary Consul of Norway in the Algarve, some consuls, Portuguese local entities and Norwegian expats living in the Algarve.
On this celebration the Choir of Casa Pia de Lisboa sang the Portuguese and Norwegian National Anthems.
The 17th of May is Norway’s National day, the day when Norwegians celebrate the anniversary of Norway’s Independence declaration and first Constitution signed in 1814, at the small town of Eidsvoll.
