Over 60 women took part in the Women & Success conference on Saturday 7th December, enjoying the chance to connect, learn and share experiences with other professional women from across the Algarve and benefit from personal and professional development workshops.
Organised by Ria van Doorn of Conscious Communication, Ivone Sousa and Ilse Noppen, the conference was hosted by the Hilton Vilamoura, and as well as the chance to network and meet new contacts, delegates took part in development workshops covering leadership, identifying your personal brand and maximising your potential.
Women & Success is an initiative to encourage women all over Portugal to think more deeply about themselves and their professional situation, and to embrace the opportunity to unleash their potential, to become inspired and inspire others. It is supported voluntarily by a group of 6 professional women local to the Algarve.

Coming next from the Women & Success team is a series of events and workshops throughout 2014, developed in response to the feedback from the conference attendees as well as respondents to the Women & Success research survey. Topics will include networking, public speaking, transforming limiting beliefs, living in balance and accessing your inner power.
The survey, to investigate women’s satisfaction with their professional, family and personal lives, the first of its kind in Portugal, is still underway and is open online until the end of January 2014. The more women who complete the survey, the better the results and the information we can share.
