The Hospital Particular do Algarve group, the private hospital operator with services in Alvor, Gambelas and Portimão, is entering the accommodation market by building a luxury health and wellness hotel.
In addition to the 70 rooms, the hotel will have medical facilities and is to be run in partnership with Longevity Wellness Worldwide whose last involvement in the region was at the Longevity Wellness Resort in Monchique, now the Macdonald Monchique Resort & Spa
This is a first for the hospital group, with a sizeable, four storey hotel with two further floors below ground level.
The Longevity Health & Wellness Hotel has been designed by Vítor Vilhena architects and incorporates a spa area, restaurants, rooftop pool area with sea view and ‘green spaces.’
The building is being constructed by the Gabriel Couto company which build Mar Shopping at the IKEA commercial area in Loulé.
