Lagos Council is launching a €1.3 million project to builkd a 1.85 metre wide pedestrian walk way at the side of the EM537 between Quatro Estradas on the EN125 and Praia da Luz.
The work is expected to start in the last quarter of 2018 and aims to sort out ‘existing anomalies’ in the pavement, as well as building proper drainage and installing low-energy lighting.
The project details can be seen at Luz parish Council office until May 11th with a presentation planned for the 17th.
The Council commented, "this project, which seeks to fix a long-overdue area, constitutes a work of unquestioned municipal public interest, both for the residents and for the thousands that visit Lagos each year and that walk along the road.
