In the east of the region, a car was washed away in Alcoutim, after a stream burst its banks and the heavy rain and hailstones caused some damage locally.

Alcoutim Civil Protection reported that, "abnormal levels of rainfall and hailstones were caused material damages in several localities with incidents at the Alcoutim River Beach and Aldeia do Pereiro and Vaqueiros."
Civil Protection warned traffic to beware standing water and debris washed onto rural roads.
