A message has been posted on the website of the defunct Almancil business, Premier FX, '"The currency exchange experts,' announcing the appointment of Dina Devalia and Peter Hart, of PKF Geoffrey Martin & Co as joint administrators.
In addition to the shock of the collapse of the business in July, subsequent to the death of founder Peter Rexstrew on June 16th, customers have been appalled at the lack of information issued by the company since its closure on July 20th.
Customers now must to trawl through any old emails and documents to establish their working relationship with the company. It is hoped that such records easily can be matched with those held by the administrators.
This period of uncertainty now is over and the (unsigned) message reads as follows:
"I confirm that Dina Devalia and Peter Hart, of PKF Geoffrey Martin & Co, were appointed Joint Administrators of Premier FX Limited (“the Company”) on 13 August 2018. This appointment was made by the court on the application of the Financial Conduct Authority.
