A man was killed by a shotgun shot on Sunday morning just after 11:00 am in a bar at Amado Beach in Aljezur.
Correio da Manhã reported that the assailant is on the run.
A man, dressed in dark clothing, entered the beach bar and fired at the victim, 45, who was on the bar terrace.
The victim was one of the bar owners. He was hit in the chest by the blast.
Attempts were made to keep the victim alive but he died at the scene.
The murder, thought to have been a revenge attack, is being investigated by a team from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Judicial Police of Portimão.
An emergency medical team, the Aljezur firefighters, the Maritime Authority, the GNR and the Judicial Police soon were at the scene.
