British airline, British Airways has cancelled a further 10,300 flights between now and the end of October., many were British flights to the Algarve and Madeira.
The carrier had already announced the cancellation of 11% of flights during the peak summer season, on Tuesday.
Tourism in Portugal could feel the negative effect on the number of visitors, at a time of year when many Brits travel to the Algarve and Madeira.
British Airways says it is trying to keep up with the recovery of the sector, which has suffered a huge drop with the covid-19 pandemic, and which has been forced to reduce supply because of the lack of workers.
