David Lea, 64 years old, has not been seen since he took his boat out of Portimão Marina on Wednesday 11th August. On 12th of August the police found the boat, without David.
Dave (to his friends and family) has been living in the Algarve for over 15 years. More recently he was living on his boat, the Barca Di, in Portimão Marina while he looked for a permanent residence on the coast.
He sometimes contracted as a Telecomms Engineer but was semi-retired. He often visited Club Nau in Ferragudo, Portimâo.
As far as his family know, Dave went out in the boat on his own, which is unusual for him.
