An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 on the Richter scale was felt on Monday in the Olhão area and was registered by Mainland Seismic Network stations at 18.40, according to the Portuguese Institute of Ocean and Atmosphere.
With the epicenter located about 40 kilometers southeast of Olhão, the earthquake was had a maximum intensity of II / III on the Modified Mercalli scale and did not cause injury or damage, according to the information from the Institute.
