The Spanish edition of the magazine Condé Nast Traveler has highlighted Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel in Sagres as one of the best in the world to stay at for a family vacation.
The attractions for children were especially welcomed by the reviewers including safe playgrounds, places to climb, a heated swimming pools and a trampoline among other child-friendly entertainments
Condé Nast Traveler commented that "the luxury, comfort and exclusive services are not incompatible with childhood" and saw Martinhal in some exalted company from tourist developments in Marbella, Cyprus, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. The relatively new resort came 10th in a top 14 of some of the best known names in Europe for luxury family breaks.
The hotel’s is located within a protected natural park near Sagres in the western Algarve where it is promoted as a ‘luxury plus nature’ resort.
The culture at Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel is family friendly and children are welcome rather than shunned.
