Missing man's body recovered from Santa Clara dam.
The body of a man missing since the early hours of Sunday morning was recovered from the water of Santa Clara dam last night.
A spokesman from the District Command for Relief Operations (CDOS) in Beja, and the local GNR reported that at 18.17 on Sunday evening a body was found and taken from the water, but they gave no further details.
The case is "under investigation," although foul play is not suspected. The GNR spokesamn added that the 43-year old man, a resident of Quarteira, Algarve, fell from a boat despite having been ‘given a warning’ at around 1.45 on Sunday morning.
