Portugal’s industrial output rose in April by 2% when compared to the previous month.
This was the third greatest growth in the eurozone where the average increase was just 0.1%.
However, compared to April 2014, production was down by 1%.
Portugal was again in third position for having the greatest decline.
Overall, the region experienced an average of 0.8% greater production than it had in April last year.
In the six months from November 2014 to March 2015, Portugal’s production rates have fluctuated monthly between modest declines and rises.
