One month after the new Mayor of São Brás, Vitor Guerreiro, started work he has signed the contract to carry on with the 2003 contract to finish off the road to the north of the town, which represents a spend of €700,000.
This project aims at "improving connections to the main roads of the town center and of the entire network of roads in the town."
The contract is for the construction of a road, comprising a central reservation, a roundabout, two lanes in each direction, a bike path, drainage and lighting.
The conclusion of the works may be in the 14 months allowed with the project linking the ER270 and EN2 and will improve connections to the city.
"The reduction of road accidents is another important aspect," says the municipality.
