Fine & Country Algarve have been busy diversifying their marketing and the latest new market to be tapped is Russia.
As part of a new marketing drive, F&C Algarve has already booked a stand at MPIRES, Moscow’s Premier International Property Show, taking place on October 4 and 5. Russian-speaking staff from the Algarve offices will be attending the event.
“We have already made a few sales to Russian buyers and this year we have started to see more enquiries coming in from Russia,” said managing partner Zoie Hawker.
The Algarve region has traditionally been dependent, to some extent, on the UK market and this is still the case for many agents. However, over the last year Fine & Country has sold to buyers from no less than 21 different countries, with the UK last year making up just 24% of their market, followed by French buyers with just over 20%.
“Our three offices across the Algarve all have staff speaking at least four different languages,” said Zoie.
