South African golfer George Coetzee was the winner of this year’s Portugal Masters played at the Dom Pedro Victoria Course in Vilamoura last weekend, with a prize pot of 1.5 million euros. Sadly for local fans here on the ground, the event had to be played behind closed doors without the usual thousands of spectators and the great ambience. But it was beamed around the world to millions of viewers showcasing our beautiful Algarve and the great September weather.
