Just 12 countries made it onto the UK’s green list, under the newly implemented traffic light system for foreign travel. Ryanair released an extra 175,000 seats on its routes between the UK and Portugal over the summer months. Jet2, meanwhile, reported a 1,300% week-on-week rise in reservations for holidays.
