The October Monthly Medal golf competition at Vale de Milho Golf Club had to be delayed by one week due to the club championship, but this slotted in nicely with Halloween this year.
The Club Captain Betty Zwart and members embraced the day, and dressed accordingly for the evening presentation dinner.
There were several golfing awards but the overall winner with a one under par card was Graham Plant.
The Halloween fancy dress prizes went to Dot Holmwood and Mike Bennett.
The competition was sponsored by Des and Barbara Briggs together with some outstanding prizes from Taylor’s Port, one of the oldest of the founding Port houses based in Oporto and the Douro Valley.
