No matter what you love, you'll be able to find something in theatre land that you won't find anywhere else.
- The shopping. If you were heading to New York, you'd know that 5th Ave. is the place to go for all of your shopping needs. In London, it's a little bit different. You have Oxford Street, Regent Street, Harrods and all of the markets available. Portobello Road in Notting Hill, where you'll find a taste of local London under the Portobello markets on the weekend. Is somewhere that you should have on your list. Going to Oxford Street to the big names, or even just heading to Westfield in London's Stratford or Shepherds Bush is an amazing place to spend some cash and enjoy yourself. You can also head through the teams on a boat if you want to travel that way, rather than walking across the numerous bridges that take you to and from different parts of London.
- London's history. A lot of people who are in love with aspects of history will go and visit London purely for that reason. And there's a good reason you should do that. You can go and see its bloody history in the London dungeons, or even head to the Tower of London to go and visit where some of the biggest names in our historical past have tread. Head yourself to Hampton Court Palace and see the bed where Anne Boleyn and Henry the Eighth once slept. - All about that skyline. During the day you might hustle and bustle through the streets of London, coming elbow to elbow with tourists and locals alike as they move to shop, eat and go to work. But it's at night time that London truly does come alive, heading to the Shard, which is known as the Shard of Glass or the Shard London Bridge, to be able to go to the top and see London spread out before you, quietly twinkling in all of its glory is part of the thing that would create a core memory for you. Just because London is expensive, it doesn't mean that you have to spend thousands of pounds to be able to enjoy your stay.
- The green spaces. People think of London and think of the grey dirty city that it is. And we're not going to lie to you, it very much is a great and dirty city. However, there are some gems throughout London where you would just want to be able to kick back and put your feet up and these include Hyde Park, St. James's Park or any number of the other Royal Parks. If you want to truly enjoy the view, head to Hampstead Heath and see London spread out beneath you. They're an ideal place to relax and you'll see the locals go around their daily life.
