The first business drinks event of the year for the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) was held last month, April 28, at the Carvoeiro offices of estate agents Fine & Country.
Tasty canapés by Bon Bon Catering and wines from Quinta dos Vales were sponsored by Fine & Country, with over 60 guests attending, made up of both Chamber members from along the Algarve and local business associates, invited by the estate agent.
Guests also had the chance to view the latest art works on display in the Corte Real Pop-up Gallery on the upper floor of the office (located on Rua do Barranco, ‘out road’). The event served as the first official introduction to members for the new Algarve representative of the BPCC, Oscar Saenger.
In normal times, the BPCC would hold regular events such as this one all along the Algarve, but over the last two years, Covid restrictions had limited gatherings to outdoor events, until now.
“It was a great pleasure for us to see so many of our Algarve members networking and enjoying the hospitality and the art on display. I would like to thank Zoie Hawker and her team at Fine & Country for hosting this event,” said Chamber CEO Chris Barton, who had travelled down from Lisbon to attend.
Over 60 guests attended enjoying wine and canapés both inside and outside along with the art on display at Fine & Country's Corte Real pop-up gallery.
