In December 2015 VILA VITA Parc was awarded the World’s Leading Green Resort 2015 at the World Travel Awards 2015 in Morocco. This award followed their other accolade, Portugal’s Leading Green Hotel which was given in September 2015 at the World Travel Awards in Sardinia.

Another sustainable method being implemented at the resort enables the hotel to water their gardens (22 hectares), and fill most of their pools via the ocean. This is a process of desalinization by osmosis and an investment that is entirely funded by VILA VITA Parc. In the future, all of the water usage, including the water in the lakes on the resort, will all be obtained by this process.
