The Algarve Classic Cars event is back in the Algarve between the 9th and 11th of July, and is said to be the 'big stage' of classic cars in Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula.
Once again, the event will have its support base at the Tivoli Marina de Vilamoura, from where participants will depart for road routes. In this edition, the organisation highlights the involvement of the Municipality of Monchique, after a few years of absence from the Algarve Classic Cars program.
In the municipality of Monchique, affectionately nicknamed "Jardim do Algarve", we will enjoy magnificent natural landscapes, which will take us to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve".
The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, will once again open its doors to the Algarve Classic Cars, with the aim of offering those who like the adrenaline of speed to discover one of the best circuits in the world.
Mercedes-Benz Starsul Concessionário in the Algarve and Murganheira will once again be the main sponsors of the event.
As usual, two routes were created:
Tourist route - the participants will not have to perform the regularity tests, and the possibility of having a more relaxed participation, favouring the social part.
Sporting route - the participants will have to perform the 16 special classification tests and in which the organisation will be very strict, with regard to compliance with the competition regulations.
During the race, all the rules in force by the General Health Department will be complied with, in accordance with the FPAK contingency plan and with all care, so that all runs safely.
"At the last edition of the event, registrations were in excess of 150, which forced us to limit the final number of participants, we would be very grateful for sending your completed registration form and the photograph of your car, without fail. before the 25th of June, so that it can be included in the catalogue of the event we are preparing for this year", asks the organisers, Portugal Classic.
In its 2021 edition, this rally will feature stages in Vilamoura, Monchique, Armação de Pêra and pass through Albufeira, Lagoa, Porches and S. Brás of Alportel.
The Algarve Classic Cars has the support of several public and private entities, including the municipalities of Loulé, Monchique, S. Brás de Alportel and the Mercedes-Benz Starsul Concessionário in the Algarve, Murganheira, Turismo do Algarve, Casinos Solverde, Vila Vita Parc, Viborel, BP Portugal among others.
