Tourism versus Natural Heritage is one of the activities of the 12th Edition of the Birdwatching & Nature Activities Festival that will take place between the 1st and 5th of October in Sagres (Vila do Bispo).
For this event, the association ADPM Mértola (Associação de Defesa do Património de Mértola) and CARM (General Directorate for the Natural Enviorment, Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia) have prepared a communication that you can not miss.
Tourism versus Natural Heritage will take place on Monday 04 October at 19:30 in front of the Sagres Tourism Office, where ADPM will analyse and discuss the impacts of tourism in the coastal area of the Portuguese Algarve, and CARM will introduce the support measures for sustainable tourism activities, jointly developed and self-regulated by tourism stakeholders in the framework of the INTERREG MED INHERIT Project, for the promotion of sustainable tourism within the MED areas with a important Natural Heritage, noting the experience and results achieved in the INHERITURA Area of Calblanque (Region of Murcia, Spain).
