Chef Luís Rocha from Herdade dos Grous welcomes Chef Cláudio Correia from Pitada de Sabor, for a Four-Hand Lunch in Honour of Alentejo Flavours.
On Saturday 27 July, renowned chef Luís Rocha, from the Herdade dos Grous restaurant, will have the honour of welcoming talented chef Cláudio Correia, from the Pitada de Sabor restaurant in Rio Maior, for an exclusive four-hand lunch, a celebration of the traditional flavours of the Alentejo.
With a special focus on fresh ingredients from the Alentejo region, the chefs will bring their creative culinary reinterpretations to the table in an interesting six-course menu. Chef Cláudio Correia, from Pitada de Sabor, will bring his classic Alentejo panipuri as a starter and horse mackerel with smoked vinegar on potatoes and coriander as the main course. Chef Luís Rocha, from Herdade dos Grous, will open the lunch with a refreshing shot of gazpacho enriched by the salty flavour of the ham 3 acorns and his main course will be the succulent Alentejo pork presa with tomato and pennyroyal crumbs.
This four-hand lunch that brings together exceptional Alentejo cuisine starts at 1pm and costs 48 euros / p.p. (excluding drinks). For wine lovers, there is a wine pairing option for 65 euros / p.p.
