Cheaper tickets for the Olhão Seafood Festival - music line-up announced

sardinesGood news for those that need a financial nudge to visit the Olhão Seafood Festival this August, the ticket prices have gone down to just €5 for the first three days and €8 for the last three as there are top performers booked.

The 9th to the 14th of August sees one of the city parks transformed into a seafood and music venue with the Ria Formosa as a backdrop.

The organising company Fesnima decided to lower the prices, "while considering that prices in previous years were not exorbitant - since in addition to allowing access to the food area the music would cost tens of euros – we intend to make the festival accessible to all audiences making it increasingly a space for all the family."

This will be the 13th such festival which is noted for its local seafood offerings grilled in the open air along with crab, lobster, oysters, prawns, shrimps, cockles and clams.

The music this year is Áurea, Expensive Soul, Os Azeitonas, C4 Pedro, Camané  and Xutos & Pontapés on the last night.

The festival takes place in the Jardim Pescador Olhanense, which opens at 19:30 and close at 02:00.
