As usual, Quinta dos Vales’ visitors were greeted at the “Open Door 2017” with beautiful Spring weather, even if the sun was a little shy. On Sunday 22nd April, over 3.000 visitors strolled once again through the grounds of the estate, where on display were numerous dance and musical performances, falconry and reptile presentations, as well as fashion shows.
Despite some late minute changes in terms of space organisation, due to predicted adverse weather conditions, all corners of the estate were well served with performances, exhibitors, food stands and tasting stations, which were packed with guests eager to taste some of the new wines. Available for tasting were a combination of new wines, namely the “Primeira Selecção White 2017” and the “Grace Touriga Franca 2015”, as well as some of the already established wines. The visitors' absolute favourite this year was the “Grace Touriga Franca 2015” - the Algarve estate's newest monovarietal.
