Portugal's security police bosses have tried to shrug off the implications of a list of police vehicles that has appeared on Facebook.
The PSP said that the list of vehicles released by "Anonymous Portugal" is an old one.
The PSP has been investigating the accuracy and origin of the list of vehicles released on Facebook by hackers ‘Anonymous Portugal’ listing the registrations and colours of 300 unmarked vehicles, allegedly used by the police in traffic operations.
The security police say there may have been an unfair intrusion into its security system but probably it is no big deal as, judging by the date of the list, the information had been leaked a while ago and could have been obtained from open sources without compromising police computer system firewalls.
