The Dr. Francisco Fernandes Lopes School Group (AEFFL) is the winner of the "Bairro Feliz - Happy Neighbourhood" competition by Pingo Doce (in Olhão - Patinha), with a prize that means children in special education/learning support centers will get to take their first plane trip.
The Pingo Doce competition, held between September 26th and October 26th, resulted in the "without barriers on a flight to the FUTURE" prize being the most voted for by consumers.
The children will fly within the country, with departure and return on the same day.
A statement released says "the main objective is to promote the children's personal and social autonomy by showing them that they are capable of transforming their reality, overcoming obstacles and allowing themselves to dream beyond the clouds."
In the note sent to the media, the Dr. Francisco Fernandes Lopes School Group thanks the support of the Parents' Association, represented by Paula Rodrigues, and recognizes RIAS for the "excellent work it does in favour of wildlife", having been a competitor in the competition.
Pingo Doce's "Bairro Feliz" program held its 4th edition this year and has supported more than 1491 local causes since its inception, which make a difference in the communities where they are located.
