The Algarve is set for another hot sunny weekend and is expected to be the only region in Portugal that won’t have cloudy skies on Saturday (July 17).
Although temperatures will be relatively high across the country - 31ºC in Faro, 33ºC in Beja and Évora, 28ºC in Lisbon and 24ºC in Porto – clear blue skies throughout the weekend are only forecast for the Algarve.
On a general level, Sunday will be the best day, with only a few clouds in coastal areas like Sagres, Leiria and Porto.
According to IPMA, the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere, the hot weather will continue into next week.
