Prospective UK buyers put Portugal in fourth place

villa3An upsurge in British people investigating property in the eurozone has been marked.

The renewed interest has been ascribed to the drop in the value of the euro and a belief that prices might finally have bottomed out after five long years. Buyers were also buoyed by low interest rates which have lessened the cost of borrowing.

Cristas said this weekend the government wants to boost equestrian tourism in the country, and can help do so by visibility to the Lusitano horse, an animal that she considers to have "an extraordinary and unique quality."

Courts to fill up with BES class actions

The two groups signed a memorandum of cooperation for joint legal representation and have appointed specialist lawyers Raposo Subtil e Associados.

Strong growth in Portuguese fruit and veg

The council today announced with great pride that the Polis Ria Formosa Company already has ‘launched tenders for contracts’ for some car park work, cycle lanes and to upgrade the access to Faro beach, all of which will be finalised before the end of 2015 before Polis is wound up.
