On Saturday 30th November, The International School of the Algarve held it's annual Christmas Bazaar and raised €2449.99 for a girls’ home in Portimão (‘Casa de Nossa Senhora da Conceição’).

The annual event is an opportunity for many stall orders to take part and sell their wares, while students get involved by organising children’s games and competitions, as well as assisting Santa Claus.

The International School of the Algarve has expanded its educational provision for the new school year with the opening of boarding for students (girls and boys) from the age of 12. Located in a converted hotel unit along the sea, the premises are a five minute drive from the school. The school ensures a private transport service between the above mentioned premises and the school itself.
