Faro’s street animals to be sterilised

catFaro council and the Associação Animais de Rua (Association of Street Animals) have established an agreement that kicks off a campaign for the registration, vaccination and sterilisation of the stray and wandering animal population, focusing on those around Faro beach.

This is the second phase of the sterilisation project that studies and treats stray animals in the Faro area and which is due to run until November 1.

Warning of fake Finanças email

Financial Times hints at debt pardon for Portugal

Giles said that the restructuring is not needed immediately but that the high level of debt of Portugal means that sooner or later deals will have to be done with the country's lenders.

Faro council borrows more money and merges services
