Starting on Super Tuesday, March 3 running until March 10, there will be 12 public voting events in Portugal to help the estimated 5,000 Americans residing in Portugal to choose the Democratic candidate to run against President Donald J. Trump in the United States 2020 Presidential election.
The Out-(In)Verno Festival focuses on globalism seen through the lens of the Algarve region, offering projects addressing our identity, directed at anyone and everyone, with the goal of offering a great cultural dip into the history of the Algarve, and the whole of Portugal. The initial premise that founded this festival was the goal of offering projects and events showing the bond between Art, Science, and Heritage.

A Escola do Gelado, the first ice cream school in Portugal and the only one specialised in natural ice cream, have opened their own space in Albufeira, and the first training courses start this month!
Courses are available for those in the Hotel, Restaurant and Cafe industry, or just those with a passion for ice cream.
Join Daniel Fox and local volunteers to clean up the Eastern Algarve. Based in Tavira, the Facebook group "East Algarve Cleanup" are trying to make a difference in the community by picking up rubbish across the Eastern Algarve region, especially plastic.

Members of the company are already in rehearsal for their first production of the season; Ladies’ Day by Amanda Whittington. This promises to deliver all the humour of Calendar Girls and The Full Monty, with the charm of Dinner Ladies.
The QRER Cooperative, based in Querença, is opening its year of activities with a bird watching tour in and around the natural beauty of the Serra do Caldeirão.
The tour is open to the public and is being arranged by Proactivetur's João Ministro. The group will set off on Saturday, January 26, at 9:00 am from the Largo de Igreja Matriz in the picturesque village of Querença.
Vilamoura International School (CIV) organises a biennial trip to Canada for Year 11 and 12 students, to give them more options when choosing tertiary education. Students from the returning group addressed their peers to tell them more about their experience.
