The StoneWolf Band launched in 2012 as the brainchild of Ricardo Lobo, singer/ songwriter and Mr StoneWolf. They are Mothered by Folk and Fathered by Rock, adding glimpses of Blues and Reggae in their quest to find the Groove! Within a very short time of forming The StoneWolf Band have played the Musa Fest, Mexefest, Festival Med & Sintra Fest in Portugal as well as being the first Portuguese band ever to be invited to the Singapore Music Matters Live 2014.

The Danish Agency for Culture has just published its revised 2015 magazine focusing on " Museums - Citizenship and Sustainable Solutions " .
The Costume Museum in São Brás de Alportel arises in this publication with an article by Lorena Querol Sancho and Emanuel Sancho, on the management and operation model of this cultural space located within the Algarve, Portugal.

This article is the culmination of a consistent practice in the field of Social Museology that has made this museum a Case Study for researchers and institutions. It was probably one of the most dramatic events held by Algarve Classic Cars, Historic Regularity Rally, organized for 23 years by the Portuguese Classic Cars Club (CPAA) and entered in the calendar of the Portuguese Federation of Automobiles and Carting.

The program began late afternoon on Friday, July 10th, with the Casino Vilamoura circuit, integrated as the Murganheira Stage. Despite the heat, the public turned out in high numbers watching a great show with competitors as diverse as an Austin A35 with only a 850cc engine and, for example, the most powerful being the Porsche 911.

Portugal4U, the organisers 1st Armação de Pêra PhotoMarathon would like to thank all the participants who took part in the 1st Armação de Pêra PhotoMarathon.

Covering eight varied themes, hundreds of photos were taken in the nine hours. Despite the heat (it was a very hot day!!) the participants completed the PhotoMarathon with incredible enthusiasm and motivation.

We have received reports of thefts that have, in the last week or so, taken place in supermarket car parks in the Algarve. One of these was in Aldi, Lagoa and another in Aldi in Almancil, and another in Aldi Lagos. There may be more.
The typical MO is that the victim is distracted, through someone asking directions, and another takes the opportunity to steal a handbag.

More than one hundred and fifty guests attended last Thursday's Gala de Fado at Arte Algarve in Lagoa. It was a wonderful evening! Surrounded by hundreds of works of art, the music was a very special experience.

On the 18th May, Norway’s National day was celebrated at Hotel Pestana Alvor Praia.

The event was attended by the Ambassadors from Norway, the Honorary Consul of Norway in the Algarve, some consuls, Portuguese local entities and Norwegian expats living in the Algarve.
